I cherish the colorful memories of my childhood.
Playing with paper and Origami. Drawing the faces of animals. Hand-knitting bracelets. Sewing tales of mystery and adventure into clothes. It was a world of my own making.
I was so curious about this colorful and unknown world, and it is a curiosity that I seek to hold onto. It inspires me to make things with my hands. A tactile process that is not only satisfying and meaningful in that it grounds me in both the present and my realm of fantasies, but also the method by which I study learn my craft.
I started this collection with the craft of my youth, and through this I found the essence of my childhood— Simplicity and intuition, and from this, playfulness and joy— Feelings I want to share by exuding them through this collection.
